Facebook newsfeed and similarly legitimate news sources are all abuzz with praise for Tina Fey's Palin impression on the last SNL. As a huge Fey fan, an avid SNL viewer (despite substantially diminishing returns) and a part-time Palin impressionist myself, I am shocked that the response has been so positive. Aside from the resemblance? Not so hot, T.T. And the skit? The writing did little to scratch the surface of how awful Palin is for women. Alas, compared to the rest of the episode ("Seriously, do you smell that peppah?" standing out as the runaway catchphrase of the evening), how can I complain?
